Are you planning a weekend getaway? Or … Do you have a special occasion to celebrate?

Get away from it all and relax for a couple of days here at our Spa in the beautiful small town of Blue Lake, in Northern California. We are near Arcata and Eureka.

Our upstairs guest room comes with a kitchenette, basic cookware, private phone line, high speed internet (high speed port and wireless) and television with DVD & VCR. There is a small film library. Our guest room has its own entrance (separate from the spa). You'll enjoy a nice private outdoor deck area with hot tub.

Explore the small historic city of Blue Lake and walk on the trail along the nearby Mad River. Enjoy two nearby restaurants, live theatre performance is offered at various times during the year at Dell 'Arte. It's all within walking distance. One and two night Spa packages available. Our room is also available without spa services.

The Chumayo Southwest Desert Mineral Scrub
A one hour massage treatment with desert herbs, minerals and healing essence from a sacred place in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. A 30 minute sage purification in our sauna follows.

Southwest Facial Massage
A dreamy experience! Includes shoulders, neck, head and face— Cactus extract, steamy hot towels, and our herbal blend softens, moisturizes, and balances, utilizing pressure points, craniosacral therapy, and lymphatic techniques.

The Regal Foot Treatment
Using a blend of essential oils and salts, this incorporates reflexology points to balance, ground, and rejuvenate. Add this to your massage package.

Cancellations accepted with 48 hour notice minus a $35 service charge. We're sorry but we are not able to accommodate pets. Our guest room is strictly non-smoking. Check in: 3:00 pm, check out: 12:00 noon.

Directions

Chumayo Spa is located at 120 H Street in Blue Lake, California. Blue Lake is about five and a half hours north of San Francisco. It is three hours west of Redding on Highway 299, and about four hours drive from Grants Pass, Oregon, via Highway 199 to 101.

Driving from the South: Take Highway 101 through Arcata, then take Highway 299 east. Go approximately 4 miles and take the Blue Lake exit. Merge right onto Blue Lake Blvd. Turn right onto Greenwood by the school. Greenwood curves and becomes Railroad Avenue. Follow Railroad to H Street. Chumayo Spa is located at the corner of H and Railroad, at 120 H Street, in Blue Lake's small historic down town area.

Driving from the North: From Highway 101 take Highway 299 east. Go approximately 4 miles and take the Blue Lake exit. Merge right onto Blue Lake Blvd. Turn right onto Greenwood by the school. Flights Available: Our spa is a 20 minuted drive from the Eureka/Arcata airport. Direct flights are available from San Francisco, Portland, and Los Angeles. Our airport is served by United and Horizon Airlines.

Directions from the Airport: From the airport, go south on Hwy 101, then take Highway 299 east. After about 4 miles on Hwy 299 take the Blue Lake exit. You will be on Blue Lake Blvd. Go straight through the traffic circle and turn right onto Greenwood by the school. Greenwood curves and becomes Railroad Avenue. Follow Railroad to H Street.
